Validates Internal Control over Financial Reporting and Information Systems Security, Availability, Confidentiality and Processing Integrity and Continues the Trend with No Exceptions

SAN DIEGO – August 18, 2016 – AIS Data Centers, the Southwest market leader for business-ready IT infrastructure, today announced that it has successfully completed its annual SSAE-16 Service Organization Controls (SOC) 1, 2 and 3 Type II audit. This is the 5th year in a row that AIS has navigated the rigorous SSAE-16 SOC compliance audit process and, as in all prior years, no exceptions were identified.

“By undergoing these detailed audits and achieving SSAE-16 SOC 1, 2 and 3 Type II compliance, AIS can assure existing and potential customers that we conduct our business to exacting standards and consistently maintain the highest levels of operational, financial and information systems integrity,” said Greg Rollet, CEO of AIS.

The purpose of SSAE-16 SOC Type II audits is to demonstrate and report on the processes and controls of a service organization’s systems, procedures and infrastructure. AIS’ SOC 1 report focused on their financial systems while its SOC 2 and 3 reports verified the company’s IT infrastructure and services as they relate to data processing integrity, security, availability and confidentiality.

“As we serve leading organizations around the U.S., our SOC 1, 2 and 3 reports illustrate that we have the appropriate controls in place to mitigate risks and provide the appropriate levels of quality assurance associated with the diverse service portfolio AIS is well-known for providing, including tailored solutions for cloud computing, co-location, network connectivity, security, data storage and more,” said Daniel Hoskins, Director of Service Assurance and Compliance for AIS.

AIS’ audits were conducted by Moss-Adams, LLP. The CPA and Business Consulting firm not only maintains the industry relevant certifications required for conducting SSAE 16 but also regularly provides thought leadership involving SOC audits. They hold membership on the AICPA Assurance Services Executive Committee, serve on the ASEC Trust/Information Integrity Task Force, which helps update the Trust Services Principles and Criteria, and participate in the development of SOC audit guides.
