San Diego MIT Enterprise Forum will present its 3rd annual Tech Fiesta on July 9, 2014 at the Medical Education & Telemedicine building on the UC San Diego campus.
The program will feature 3-minute “elevator pitches” from selected companies to an audience of investment bankers, capital investment and planning experts, venture capitalists, angel investors, service providers, senior executives and other entrepreneurs. Presenting companies will also staff display tables during a networking reception before pitching their companies and products to the audience.
At the end of the evening, audience voting will determine the winning company in each of the following categories:
- Company you want to hear more about
- Company most likely to issue the largest tech IPO ever
- Company most likely to be the first to meet Mark Cuban

Below please find MULTIPLE driving routes to the Gilman Parking Structure (where FREE parking is available in any open space labeled “V”, “B” or “A”). Please enter the Gilman Structure at the RUSSEL DRIVE entrance where an attendant will hand you a parking PERMIT. The attendant will be on duty from 4:30pm to 6:00pm handing out permits – if you arrive before or after those times, you will need to purchase your own parking permit. Also see below for WALKING directions to the MET Building on the UCSD Campus. There will be signage to guide you.
*Please note: there is handicapped parking available closer to the MET, in P602. After turning left onto Gilman Drive (from Villa La Jolla Drive), take the first left into P602.

1. Exit the I-5 onto La Jolla Village Drive West
2. Turn right onto Villa La Jolla Drive
3. Turn left onto Gilman Drive
4. Take your first right onto Russell Drive
5. Turn right to enter the Gilman Parking Structure

2. Cross the street to parking lot P602
3. Follow narrow path leading out of P602 (between trees)
4. Path takes you to the ceremonial green lawn
5. MET Building is visible at the top of the green lawn
