SAN DIEGO, Calif., May 17, 2011 – American Internet Services (AIS), a leading provider of enterprise-class data center and connectivity services in the western United States, today announced its proactive campaign to raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) was a success with over $25,000 in contributions received.
The AIS for LLS outing at Petco Park where San Diego Padres played an afternoon game against the Pittsburgh Pirates, exceeded attendance expectations by over 30%.
At the Leukemia Cup Regatta event sponsored by the Bahia Corinthian Yacht Club off Newport Beach, AIS chief executive officer, Tim Caulfield’s sailboat, the S/V Antara, won its class – raising additional funds in the process.
“Words can’t describe how thrilled I am for having so many folks join our fundraising efforts this year. It has been an outstanding team effort. Special thanks to all who participated,” said Caulfield.
